The spring concert is this weekend on March 29!
Sinfonia and Youth Orchestra musicians are to arrive at the Civic Center at 12:15pm to warm up before the sound check from 12:30-1:30pm.
Before the concert, the Youth Orchestra Wind Quintet will perform a few movements from Ferenc Farkas' Early Hungarian Dances from the 17th Century in the main lobby.
Added to the program, between Symphonie Espagnole and Montegues and Capulets, is Aaron Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man. This piece features the Youth Orchestra Brass Ensemble.
Following the concert is a reception in the Gibson Room (upstairs) with cookies and punch provided by the Sinfonia and Youth Orchestra families.
After rehearsal on March 22, all Sinfonia and Youth Orchestra musicians are invited to the annual bowling party at the Black Eagle Community Center! There will be pizza, drinks, and bowling contests with prizes.
Sinfonia musicians have the alley reserved from 5:00-6:00pm and Youth Orchestra from 6:00-7:00pm.
Here is the bowling alley's address:
